Goals

Manage dual crew constraints for the system to be able to take into account if an attendant is necessary for the route realization and depending on different constraints  (products requirement, sites requirements, ...). 

This feature is mainly used in mill activity and can help the user to decide how many accompanist or drivers have to be taken into account during routes optimization.


Realization of transport plans, in which the solvercan solver can propose routes with double crews, on the basis of constraints related to the quantities on a route and / or sites.

  • Quantities constraints on a route

Example: Starting from 7 tons of bagged products, triggering an escort


  • Site constraints

Example: On this site, for delivery / collection of products packaged in bags, triggering an attendant.


All while taking into account :

  • The number of drivers / guides gui des available and the legation according to the composition of the double crew.

Example: Propose a number of routes consistent with the number of drivers available


  • Of the The composition of the double crew

Example : Increased driving time can be increased in the case of two drivers

This group of fields is used to indicate the limit from which, for a family of products, an attendant must be triggered on a tour. This limit can be defined on one or more types of units .:

  • Weight unit
  • Volume unit
  • Handle unit

This group of fields is used to indicate if an attendant must be triggered on a tour.
  • Mandatory : Define that the presence of an attendant on the route is mandatory whatever quantities delivered / collected
  • Minimum limit : Define the limit from which, for a logistic site (and potentially for a corresponding product family), an attendant must be triggered for all the sites attached to this logistics profile. This limit can be set to one or more types of units (Weight unit, Volume unit, Handle unit).


Default value is blank (i.e it means no specific limit).

In this part, can be precised number of drivers can be used and number of them as accompanist, with impact on the driving times (double crew as checked).

Can be also spcified number of accompanists. Accompanists can't drive, so no impact on the driving time.
